Hi! I’m Shannon! I'm here to help you make sense of the Challenges and Chaos
My story
I'm not just a clinician, I'm a human being dedicated to authentic connection and healing. I believe in meeting people where they are, because I know that relationships are a powerful force for change. Through genuine connection, we can move forward in the healing journey together.
Using an integrative approach that combines attachment-based and trauma-informed techniques, I take real joy in forming strong therapeutic relationships with my clients. I'm eager to understand your cultural and familial background and the unique strengths you bring, as those strengths are always part of the work.
I'm willing to go to the deep places with you, exploring wounds, traumatic experiences, and life's ups and downs, while also making room for laughter and lightness. That balance is how we build real resilience and post-traumatic growth.
My approach draws from:
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) · Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) · Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) · Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) · Family Systems Therapy · Solution-Focused Therapy · Attachment-Based Therapy · Somatic Therapy

Hello!Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist | Telehealth + In-Person
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in San Luis Obispo. I help teens, adults, and families navigate the complicated, beautiful, hard parts of being human.
A little more about me.I'm a San Luis Obispo native; this community is home in every sense of the word. Outside of the therapy room, you'll probably find me in the kitchen cooking something I found on Instagram or Tiktok, walking the Central Coast beaches, or hunting for moonstones along the shore.
I live with a cluster of autoimmune disorders, so I understand the challenges of living with chronic illness and chronic pain. I have several close family members that also have autoimmune disorders.
I'm a mom to a teenage daughter and part of a blended family, which means I get the beautiful, complicated, sometimes chaotic reality of modern family life from the inside out.
I love spending time with my family and my three kitties, and whenever I get the chance, I love to travel and explore somewhere new.
I started this practice because I wanted my work to match my values: real connection, real flexibility, and real support. Not a production line. Not a revolving door. Just therapy, the way it's supposed to feel.
