Therapy that meets you where you are.
Whether you're in the middle of something hard or just feel like something needs to shift, this is a space where you get to be fully honest. I offer individual and family therapy for teens and adults, in person in San Luis Obispo and via telehealth across California.
Sometimes you just need one place where you can say everything, without having to pretend everything is okay
Individual therapy is a dedicated space for you. We'll work on what you bring, at the pace that feels right, with a therapist who's genuinely in your corner.
Who it's for:
Teens (12+), college students, and adults who are ready to start their therapy journey, even if they're not sure where to begin.
We might work on:
Anxiety that won't quiet down · Depression and low motivation · Processing trauma (Past or present) · Chronic illness (living with it or caring for someone who does) · LGBTQ+ identity and belonging · Life transitions: breakups, career shifts, new chapters · Women's issues and identity · Adoption and family-of-origin questions · Neurodivergence · Divorce and co-parenting
What to expect:
50-minute sessions. In-person or telehealth. Frequency, based on your goals, most clients start weekly and adjust as they make progress.
Individual TherapyFamily / Couple TherapyFamilies are complicated. They're also where some of our most important healing happens.
Family therapy gives everyone in the room a chance to be heard, and a structured, supported way to understand ourselves and each other's wounds and, most importantly, where healing happens. I work with families navigating conflict, communication breakdowns, major transitions, or the added stress of a family member's health challenges.
Who it's for:
Families with teens and parents in conflict · Families adjusting to a chronic illness or disability · Blended families finding their footing · Families navigating divorce or separation · Adult children and parents working through long-standing dynamics
What to expect:
50-minute sessions. In-person preferred; telehealth available. We'll establish goals together so everyone feels a sense of ownership over the process.
Telehealth TherapyLife doesn't always make it easy to get to an office. Telehealth does.
I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions for clients throughout California. Telehealth is especially well-suited for those managing busy schedules, caregiving responsibilities, anxiety, or chronic illness, which makes in-person feel like a lot, without sacrificing any of the depth or connection of in-person work.
